This is a wonderful site Ken. If only more people had your courage, this world would be a nice place to live. I hope that you will continue your fight, and that if you need help, that you will not hesitate to call me.

Ken, I have deployed with you before, we smoked and joked together as battle buddies so ya know when I say that you have courage beyond most and that you are a mentor for many I mean just that!! Sharing your experience is honerable and a credit to you as a human and a mentor. Don't ever waiver or faulter from your mission. If you do you failed, and all of us that know you understand that failure is not something you excel at. Good luck with your future writing.

THANK YOU for posting what I believe to be the sequence: The alienation comes from the kidnapping, and not vice versa. Any kidnapping might be sudden, and not predictable, but in our case (and many) the mental "kidnapping" can happen before, including years before, as it's demonstrated, and often cruelly, to the child(ren) that it is NOT going to be safe for them to bond with the decent (law-abiding) parent. I don't normally post without checking out more of the site, but am going to do so in this case. I hope you were able to establish a stable relationship and/or marriage after growing up, and would like to know if you have a relationship with your siblings (and were all taken, or just you?). Thanks.

Hi Ken, First, I want to thank you for all of your hard and steadfast work that you have and continue to put forth in the area of parental child abduction. And in particular, your concentrated efforts in assisting children re-enter life once an abduction occurs. Your voice stands head and shoulders above many in this area - as you never needed to walk back into the arena of child abduction. Yet, through your big heart you have decided to help others. And your insight and perspectives are critically important because you have walked down the road to which you speak of so elegently. In this very same sense, I want you to know that you have made a big difference in our life, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Your friend: Peter

There is something about someone who chooses not to live in their darkness, and instead chooses their darkness to empower them and to bring light to those who can't otherwise. Thank you....your site is very inspirational, looking forward to reading the book.
